During past seasons, we saw an improvement in organic matter (OM) in soil irrigated with carbonic acid treated water. The organic matter (OM) growth increased from 0.5% to more than 2.5% in a 4-6 months period. If we take only an average of a 1% increase in OM, we found that more Nitrogen and Phosphorus are available to the plants, reducing the need of chemical fertilizers and the consequent costs.
